Lair System Upgrade (Icon)

Weapon Equipment Mods are a sub-class of Lair System Dispenser Items called Tactical Mods. These white Equipment Mods can be used to buff the attack, defense or other abilities of the player.

Tier I[]

Obtained from Tactical Mod Capsule I - Weapon, these require Tactical Mods I unlocked and at least 1 power cell active in the Generator.

Mod Effect
Absorption Adapter I Weapon attacks have a chance to activate a shield, reducing damage by 50% until damage equal to 10% of your Health is prevented. This effect may only occur once every 120 seconds.

Absorb Damage 50% - Self (12 seconds)

Blast Adapter I Weapon attacks blast your target for additional damage. This effect may only occur once every 60 seconds.
Restorative Adapter I Weapon attacks heal you a small amount. This effect may only occur once every 60 seconds.
Replenishing Adapter I Weapon attacks restore additional power. This effect may only occur once every 60 seconds.

Tier II[]

Obtained from Tactical Mod Capsule II - Weapon, these require Tactical Mods I and Tactical Mods II unlocked and at least 2 power cells active in the Generator.

Mod Effect
Absorption Adapter II Weapon attacks have a chance to activate a shield, reducing damage by 50% until 500 damage is prevented. This effect may only occur once every 90 seconds.

Absorb Damage 50% - Self (12 seconds)

Blast Adapter II Weapon attacks have a chance to blast your target and one other nearby enemy for additional damage. This effect may only occur once every 90 seconds.

20 to 28 Health - Target Area (?)
Knockdown - Target Area (2 seconds)

Restorative Adapter II Weapon attacks have a chance to heal you. This effect may only occur once every 90 seconds.
Replenishing Adapter II Weapon attacks have a chance to restore additional power. This effect may only occur once every 90 seconds.

Boost[]

Obtained from Tactical Mod Capsule III - Weapon, these require Tactical Mods I, Tactical Mods II, and the Boost unlocked, and 3 power cells active in the Generator.

Mod Effect
Absorption Adapter V Weapon attacks have a chance to activate a shield, reducing damage by 75% until damage equal to 30% of your Health is prevented. This effect may only occur once every 60 seconds.
Blast Adapter V Weapon attacks have a chance to blast your target and five other nearby enemies for additional damage. This effect may only occur once every 20 seconds.
Restorative Adapter V Weapon attacks heal you and three other group members a small amount. This effect may only occur once every 20 seconds.
Replenishing Adapter V Weapon attacks restore additional power. This effect may only occur once every 20 seconds.


Trivia[]

  • Usually merely weapons with item level 30 and up have the slot for weapon equipment mods.
  • Triggering the effect of a Weapon Equipment Mod will trigger the cooldown for all Weapon Equipment Mods, so a cooldown would be in place even if you switch weapons or mods; the cooldown appears to be the longer one between the two you are switching with, if they are not the same.
  • With game update 47 boost ranks have been consolidated from three to one. Only one unlock is required to fully boost a mainframe ability. Subsequently there were merely three tiers for tactical mods instead of five.
