Keep your allies alive with powerful storms and flowing water. Command water in and around allies and enemies. Bend and blast water into incredible streams and torrents to unleash a flood of destruction, or shape it into awe-inspiring constructs to wash away your enemies in the Damage role. Soothe the wounds of your allies or envelop them and yourself with the shielding power of water in the Healer role. And turn the tides of conflicts with High Tide by pulling strength from the mystical energies of the ocean depths.

Access to Water powers is available to members with an active subscription. Non-members may purchase access in the Marketplace for either 600 Daybreak Cash, 600 Marketplace Cash or 600 Loyalty Points.
Specializing in Healing abilities, Water is the game's 15th power set.


Power Description Details
Dodge

Press the Block button plus a direction to quickly dart in that direction in order to escape an incoming attack.
While dodging, ranged attacks are deflected.

It is ineffective against Counter attacks, Interrupt effects and other very strong attacks.

Crashing Wave

Ride a wave at blinding speed toward your target, dealing damage to it and nearby enemies.

Power Interactions : Crushes enemies, making them vulnerable to crushing effects.

Slash your target with hard water weaponry, dealing them damage.

Continue assaulting enemies in front of you with hard water weaponry, dealing them damage.

Power Interactions : Crushed enemies take additional damage.
Each strike from Aquatic Arsenal against your target reduces the current Cooldown of High Tide by 2 seconds.

Soothing Mist

Cover yourself and your least healthy group member with soothing water, healing them.

Power Interactions : If you are in High Tide, Soothing Mist's healing is increased. This effect removes High Tide.

Summon a waterspout at the feet of each nearby opponent, dealing damage and knocking them down.

Create a large shark water construct and command it to attack your target and enemies nearby, dealing damage.

Tranquil Pool

Create a swirling, tranquil pool of water that heals you and your group members over time.

Bubble

Surround yourself within a protective bubble that prevents incoming damage.

Cause a rejuvenating rush of water to wash over you and 3 injured group members, healing them.

Call forth a line of consecutive violent water bursts in front of you. Each charge explodes, dealing damage to enemies in the area.

Tsunami Strikes

Strike out in a series of open fisted attacks, hitting your target and enemies near it with torrents of water, dealing them damage.

Continue striking enemies with torrents of water, dealing them damage.

Power Interactions : Each strike from Tsunami Strikes against your target reduces the current Cooldown of High Tide by 4 seconds.
Healer Role : Decreases the damage dealt, but heals the most damaged group member.

Whirlpool

Cause a vortex to form at your target's feet, pulling any enemies near them into the center, dealing damage to them over time.

Quickly wash yourself and group members in mystical energy from the depths of the ocean, healing them.

Surround yourself in a large amount of water, granting you Power and immunity to crowd control effects, shielding you from incoming damage, and reducing your active Water superpower cooldowns by a large amount.

TriviaEdit

  • Water contains Hard Water Constructs based on Aqualad and Waterbending abilities based on Mera.
  • Before the release of the powerset several water animations were already used by Atlantean NPCs in DC Universe Online.
  • The Creative Director posted in June 2015 that Water would be a Healer power set and would be released after Atomic.
  • It was confirmed at San Diego Comic Con and on the official DC Universe Online website that Water will be officially released on August 30th, 2017.
  • The Splash Pack available from the marketplace focuses on water related base items.
