The Trenchcoat Brigade is a loose team of psychic and mystic detectives who share a preference for wearing trench coats.
The name was an offhand joke made by John Constantine in reference to the title of Alfred Lord Tennyson's famous 1854 poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade"; a poem about a military event of the same name.
History[]
The group first worked together when they attempted to guide Tim Hunter through various realms of Magic in order to teach him all of Magic's abilities and consequences.
The group would later re-unite when an apocalyptic vision glimpsed by Mister E sends John Constantine, the Phantom Stranger and Doctor Occult into a ruined future, where an ancestor of Constantine's reveals that they must save the world from a minor Russian god known as M'Nagalah.
