The Path to Perdition (Briefings)

The Path to Perdition is a Global Briefing that can be found in the Gotham Wastelands, the Tunnel of Lust, Ruined Cathedral, Knightsdome Arena and the Trigon's Prison alert. There are twelve parts that comprise this briefing.

Synopsis[]

"Sin permeates the Gotham Wastelands, chipping away at the souls within it's hellish borders. It's effects can be damaging and everlasting.

Part 1: Perdition: Envy[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Knightsdome Wastelands
Location: Southwest corner in the ruins of Ace Chemicals, hidden between a chimney and a building wall.
Briefing: Jesse's Follower: Jesse, do you even hear me? Do you listen to your most devoted follower? Jacob listens to his devotees... Why do they deserve better than I? I've given myself to you! I want something in return!

Part 2: Perdition: Envy[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Knightsdome Arena
Location: Inside the room near the safezone, behind a busted Row of File Cabinets.
Briefing: Jesse's Follower: Jesse, I demand that you answer my calls to you. Jared listens to his disciples. He fills then with wrath, and grants them unimaginable power! Why can't I have what they have...?

Part 3: Perdition: Envy[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Knightsdome Arena
Location: Inside the arena per se, near the wall East from the entrance.
Briefing: Jesse's Follower: Jesse! I MUST have your attention! Why does everyone else get your ear but not me! I will not give up until I have more power than the other cultists. They don't deserve what they have. I gave my life to my master. I DESERVE IT.

Part 4: Perdition: Lust[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Ruins of Amusement Mile
Location: Behind Tunnel of Lust, up in a recess in the rocks near the ceiling.
Briefing: Fanatic of Lust: Jacob, are you out there? Listening? I've been chosen. They've selected me to join your followers. To worship you. They say your^[SIC] irresistible. I'm just glad they didn't put me in a labor camp.

Region: Tunnel of Lust
Location: In the first room after the safezone, on the second floor.
Briefing: Fanatic of Lust: Jacob, are you there? It's me. I've devoted myself to becoming your greatest disciple. You will be so proud of me. You won't need any other followers...

Part 6: Perdition: Lust[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Tunnel of Lust
Location: On a swan pedal boat in the tunnel before Jacob.
Briefing: Fanatic of Lust: Jacob? I know you're listening. I know it because I am your favorite! You want me above all others. In fact... I'll get rid of the others! Yes. That will prove my love to you. I'll see you soon.

Part 7: Perdition: Wrath[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Cathedral Outskirts
Location: Right next of Ruined Cathedral, inside the structure to the left.
Briefing: Jared's Follower: Jared, I know you hear all. You are true wrath. Unlike my brothers and sisters -- for they are weak! They take pleasure in pitting the drudges against each other. This is not for sport! It is for wrath!

Region: Ruined Cathedral
Location: In the room where you fight Jared, above a door to the West.
Briefing: Jared's Follower: Jared, your flock is straying! They are fools and have forgotten what we bleed for. My superior humiliated me in front of the others... They found his body this morning. Burned badly. Now I am the superior. I will do great things in your name!

Part 9: Perdition: Wrath[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Ruined Cathedral
Location: Choosing the middle cog when requested, inside the room in the middle of West Tower, in the room where you fight Smoldering Wrath.
Briefing: Jared's Follower: Jared, hear me! My subordinates are weak! They are not true believers. They have strayed from you will. I will slaughter them in your name! For Jared, he who IS vengeance!

Part 10: Perdition: Wonder Woman[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Mausoleum Grounds
Location: Close to the great beam spawning Grand Watchers.
Briefing: Wonder Woman: Wonder Woman, daily report. Circe clearly has an ulterior motive for releasing Trigon. I know her far too well to expect her to stand by and let anyone other than herself be worshipped. I just wish she realized the gravity of waking a sleeping giant.

Part 11: Perdition: Circe[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Trigon's Prison
Location: By the second staircase room (after the Prominent Family ghosts), above the entrance
Briefing: Circe: Cult of Blood, Circe speaks to you! Triumph is at hand, thanks to the Victory Stone. Taken ages ago from Alexander the Great by one of my most loyal bestiamorphs, I have kept the weakened gemstone in secret. But, soon, it will be recharged...soon, I will have incomprehensible power!

Part 12: Perdition: Circe[]

Zone: Gotham Wastelands
Region: Trigon's Prison
Location: In the room where you fight the Avatar of Sin, behind the rocks to the North
Briefing: Circe: Cult of Blood, heed Circe's words! You will help me break through the barrier that imprisons Trigon! Once his mystical restraints are fractured, my own magics will be able to siphon Trigon's infinite evil to recharge the Victory Stone.

Upon completion of this briefing collection players receive a message from either Nightwing or [[]], accessible from any Mail Terminal.
