Stryker's Island is a Global Briefing that can be found in the alert Stryker's Island Penitentiary. There are six parts that comprise this briefing.

Synopsis[]

"Stryker's Island has come under new management: a psychopathic, ragebound Gorilla Grodd!"

Zone: Metropolis
Instance: Stryker's Island Penitentiary (Alert)
Location: Under some pipes in a corner before cell block 2
Briefing: Lois Lane: "This is Lois Lane at Daily Planet Live. Metropolis residents will recognize Stryker's Correctional Facility as the iron-clad island just outside of Metropolis. Now, with the rise of the new generation of villains, the prison is filled to overflowing. Stryker's staff continues to deny reports of internal corruption and understaffing, insisting that their facility provides the best, safest and most humane prison environment for meta, magic and tech villains threatening the city."

Location: West guard watch room of cell block 2
Briefing: Jack Ryder: "This is Jack Ryder, and YOU ARE WRONG! Why? Because you think once criminals go to jail, they STAY THERE! Just look at Stryker's outside of Metropolis. Place looks like a fort, right? No way any of those super-powered tech-crazy magic-loving baby-eating villain maniacs could EVER bust out of THERE, right? Sorry, friend - but YOU ARE WRONG!"

Instance: Stryker's Island Penitentiary (Alert)
Location: South end of Evidence room, behind an evidence cabinet
Briefing: Lois Lane: "This is Lois Lane with Daily Planet Live. The Rogues, Keystone City's notorious group of criminals, were transferred today to Stryker's Island, where they await trial. Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Heat Wave, and Weather Wizard continue to insist on their innocence. Lex Luthor himself has taken an interest in their cause and is providing legal representation free of charge."

Instance: Stryker's Island Penitentiary (Alert)
Location: Above a turbine generator-looking structure in the room before the containment Chamber
Briefing: Scientist: "This is STAR Labs to Stryker's. Hello? We've found the piece the Flash removed from Grodd's headgear. Do you need it? It might snap him out of that coma. Or, you know, it might allow him to broadcast to everyone there...Oh, I guess we wouldn't want that! Well, if you want it, just call."

Zone: Metropolis
Instance: Stryker's Island Penitentiary (Alert)
Location: Third cell in Containment chamber lower level
Briefing: Lex Luthor: "This is Luthor to Stryker's Command. Are you trying to anger me? I do not appreciate your hostile and aggressive respones to the Society's earlier requests for information. So one last time: where is Mirror Master? He has failed to arrive for the hearing the Society arranged for him in Metropolis. In light of our...future dealings...I demand you contact the Society immediately."

Instance: Stryker's Island Penitentiary (Alert)
Location: The room after the Evidence room
Briefing: Superman: "Superman at the Watchtower contacting Stryker's with urgent information from STAR Labs. They've analyzed Grodd's failed primal mind control tech. It created a fatal feedback loop which may have affected Grodd himself. Get Grodd in deep psychic lockdown, or activate the time stasis cell we developed for Vandal Savage - otherwise his mind could affect everyone at Stryker's."

Upon completion of this collection players receive a message from Lois Lane, accessible from any Mail Terminal.

From: Lois Lane	Subject: Briefing: Stryker's Island
"Daily Planet News Brief: Strykers is still under tight lockdown tonight after the resolution of a tense prison riot situation lead by the terrorist Gorilla Grodd. Details remain sparse, but sources on the scene report strange behavior on the part of both the guards and inmates. For Daily Planet Live, this has been Lois Lane."
