Spectrum Analysis is a Global Briefing that can be found in the Alerts introduced in the episode Fight for the Light. There are nine parts that comprise this briefing.

"The emotional spectrum is out of balance and the various Lantern Corps must act quickly to restore equilibrium."

Part 1: For the Light: Lois Lane[]

Region: STAR Labs Lobby
Instance: S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility (Alert)
Location: At the highest level, above the huge sphere of light.
Briefing: Lois Lane: "This is Lois Lane with breaking news on Metropolis' own STAR Labs, where research on emotions was hijacked by Brainiac to create rifts into the emotional spectrum itself. Both the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps have called a cease-fire while they attempt to get the Brainiac technology under control."

Part 2: For the Light: Sarah Charles[]

Zone: STAR Labs Research Facility
Region: Level 3 Reactor Corridor
Instance: S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility (Alert)
Location: Take the West path, then follow the corridor until you reach the penultimate console. The node is behind it.
Briefing: Sarah Charles: "Professor Scott? It's Doctor Charles from STAR Labs. We've looked at your theoretical schematics for the enhanced weapon procedures and well, let me just say, we're impressed. I'm certain we can provide a more ethical environment for weapons testing than Cadmus or LexCorp. Additionally we can provide much more focused research than Ferris on the micro pulse arrays. We look forward to working with you."

Part 3: For the Light: Kilowog[]

Region: Extraterrestrial Biosphere
Instance: S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility (Alert)
Location: The the West path until you reach the Biosphere where you fight the Scion of Fear. It's across the room on the outside, next to the window at Southeast.
Briefing: Kilowog: "STAR Labs? This is Kilowog. Our rings are pickin' up some big-time shifts in the emotional spectrum. Could be related to whatever's messin' up our rings. I'm not sure what kinda crazy brew you've got goin on in those test tubes, but we're on our way. Some of the new deputies have been dispatched in the sector, so if ya see any of the rookies they're authorized to lend a hand. Kilowog out."

Part 4: For the Light: Sinestro[]

Zone: STAR Labs Research Facility
Instance: S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility (Alert)
Location: Take the East path until you reach the room between the Particle Collider Room and the Ocean Observation Hall. The node is behind the semi-opened door partially blocked by a fallen structure on the stairs.
Briefing: Sinestro: "Attention, Earth! This is Sinestro. My Corps and I are descending on Metropolis. Do NOT interfere with our plans. While your fear of Brainiac is invigorating, we cannot allow his tampering with the Emotional Spectrum. I warn you again, disturb us and you will face the greatest fear in the universe."

Part 5: For the Light: Vicki Vale[]

Zone: Coast City • STAR Labs Research Facility
Region: Park • Ocean Observation Hall
Instance: Coast City • S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility (Alert)
Location: Coast City:: In the initial area, southeast from the Green Lantern Corps monument. S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility: Follow East path. The node is in the room after the point where you find Hal Jordan, above a closed door.
Briefing: Vicki Vale: "This is Vicki Vale and JLA Watch! With a special edition on the emotional spectrum! You've heard of the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps, but did you know there's an intergalactic Corps for every color in the rainbow? Each color is associated with an emotion, from the Rage-filled Red Lanterns to the Violet Star Sapphires who champion Love. These cosmic warriors use their power rings to become masters of a given wavelength of the emotional spectrum, but only the Green Lanterns of Earth currently serve with the Justice League."

Part 6: For the Light: Hal Jordan[]

Region: Converted S.T.A.R. Labs facility • East Wing
Instance: Coast City • S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility (Alert)
Location: Coast City:: Turn right as soon as you enter the facility, the node is right in the corner. S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility: Follow the East path and stop before entering the room where you fight the Scion of Will. There's a tunnel right above the entrance. Enter this tunnel using the ladder to the West. The node is at the end of the tunnel.
Briefing: HAL: "Captain Hal Jordan to Ferris Tower. She's flying a little rough- having a hard time keeping her nose up- nothing I can't handle though." TOWER: "Jordan - we're getting some alarming readings down here as well, you should bring her in." HAL: "Sounds good, I'll bring her around- *loud noise and an alarm*" TOWER: "Jordan! Hal! Pop the hatch, get out of there!" HAL: "No no, I got it. *struggling grunt*" TOWER: "Hal, eject!" HAL: "*alarm and noises stop* Hahaha. There we go...settled her down and bringing her in." TOWER: "Jordan...you're unbelievable, *SIGH* *exasperated*"

Part 7: For the Light: Lois Lane[]

Region: Ferris Aircraft
Instance: Coast City
Location: At the obstructed road leading to Ferris Aircraft, next to the debris.
Briefing: Lois Lane: "This is Lois Lane with a breaking story from Coast City. The "City Without Fear" has experienced a number of devastating tragedies in recent history, but the resilient citizens refuse to give in. Even amid reports of nearby Sinestro Corps and alien activity they will not abandon their city. When father of two was asked why his family would not leave he responded with "The Jordans don't run. We believe in the new heroes, and we believe in Green Lantern." We'll have more as the situation develops. Lois Lane, Daily Planet Live."

Part 8: For the Light: Martin Jordan[]

Zone: Coast City
Region: Ferris Aircraft
Instance: Coast City
Location: In the first room, at the northwestern corner.
Briefing: Martin Jordan: "Captain Martin Jordan to Ferris Tower. Left turbine tightened up on that last pass. I know we want to push her pretty hard, but the investors won't be impressed if I blow both her engines. *pauses, listening* Copy that. I'll keep her in the sky *Sudden alarms, plane in distress sounds*."

Part 9: For the Light: Lyssa Drak[]

Zone: Oa
Region: Oan Sciencells
Instance: Oan Sciencells
Location: Behind the East Sciencell.
Briefing: GL CORP MALE: "Sciencell inquest record. Prisoner Lyssa Drak." LYSSA DRAK: "Interrogators? What a wonderful opportunity for me to share a foreboding tale. Sector 0000. This is a story of imminent terror. An uprising so great that it's very recount will inspire boundless fear in ALL who hear it. It will happen soon...and when I recover the Book of Parallax I will burn it into it's pages with your palpable FEAR! Hahaha!"

Trivia[]

The "father of two" mentioned by Lois Lane in Part 7 is probably Jim Jordan, Hal's younger brother. He married the reporter Sue Williams, and their two children are Howard and Jane Jordan.
Martin Jordan was Hal's father, a military test pilot who lost his life in the accident registered in Part 8.
