Murk

Murk is the current Commander of the Drift and Kingsguard of Atlantis.

Background[]

Murk served Aquaman's brother, Ocean Master, and later served Aquaman.

He secretly disobeyed Atlantean law and showed loyalty to Ocean Master as he believed Ocean Master was the true leader of Atlantis. He rallied Tula and Swatt to free Ocean Master from Belle Reve. While he was gone, Atlantis was attacked by Scavenger and the Dead King and left weakened due to their missing general.

Involvement[]

Murk appears in the first cutscene of the Atlantis: Royal Palace challenge.
Murk is the final boss of the Atlantis: Crown of Thorns raid.
He is a weekly bounty in Patchwork Themyscira (Conqueror Counterstrike).

Murk was created Geoff Johns and Paul Pelletier and first appeared in Aquaman Vol 7 #17 in April 2013.
