- Fred Farrell Jr. is a fireman who works at the Metropolis Fire Department. First appearing in Showcase #1 (March 1956), "Fireman Farrell" has occasionally been appearing in background and foreground cameo appearances in other DC titles such as Action Comics, Batman, Superman/Batman, Crisis of Infinite Earths and others to date.
