Marks of Reality were introduced alongside tier 5 content. The are used to purchase Tier 5 Iconic Battle Suits. These marks are obtained from alerts, duos, challenges, raids, operations, daily missions and bounties included in the Origin Crisis, Sons of Trigon and War of Light Part 1 DLC's.
Promethium Lockboxes also provide a Mark of Reality once the player reaches a combat rating of 84.
The currency was phased out with game update 36 and replaced with the game's standard currency, Marks of Triumph with an exchange rate of 1:625.
