The Legion of Doom are a group of super-villains founded by Lex Luthor.

Luthor assembled this team after he found out the true nature of Men, and of the Multiverse itself. A nature that would lead the Multiverse towards Doom. He explained that the destiny of humanity was to be rulers of all creation, and to be the most powerful race in the Multiverse.

• The Legion of Doom are freed from Perpetua's influence in Dark Knights: Return to Earth 3.

Trivia

• The Legion of Doom first appeared on the Super Friends TV series, debuting in the episode Wanted: The Superfriends written by Jeffrey Scott. The team was adapted for Prime Earth continuity in Justice League (Volume 4) #1 by Scott Snyder and Jim Cheung.
• The original Legion of Doom also included The Joker, but he does not appear as a member in the game.
• Although the Legion of Doom is often associated with the Hall of Doom, the Legion of Doom should not be confused with the usual operators and villain faction representative group, the Secret Society of Super-Villains.
