Healing over time (h0t) is a buff only supplied by healers. Nature and Celestial mainly give this buff to the group. Abilities such as Circle of Destiny in the Sorcery powerset and Electrogenesis in the Electricity powerset also heal over time. Healing over Time is when the group is automatically being healed in small amounts as compared to direct and burst healing which supply health in huge amounts. It is therefore sometimes prefered that a burst healer and a over time healer work together in the same raid. Two Nature healers may have difficulty working together in a raid, due to their overlapping heal over time buffs. The stat recommended to enhance this buff is Restoration
. If a player is being healed over time, a small green heart will appear under the players name and health bar. Although Celestial healers heal over time they don't provide the heart symbol.
