Steppenwolf and Kalibak are commanding the Apokoliptian forces assaulting New Genesis. If you defeat enough of their forces on the battlefield, one of them is sure to join the fight. Defeat whichever appears.

Defeat the succession of combatants that appear after activating a Skirmish marker in the New Genesis Battlefield
As each Skirmish marker is fully defeated, it turns into a green column of light.
The Apokoliptian Commander will appear on the center marker point of the battlefield after the third skirmish is converted to the green light column.
