Command the power of Earth, shaping it into mighty pets and causing damaging tremors. Characters that choose Earth will rumble on to the scene and shake things up.
Access to Earth powers is available to members with an active subscription. Non-members may purchase access in the Marketplace for either 600 Daybreak Cash, 600 Marketplace Cash or 600 Loyalty Points.
Specializing in Tanking abilities, Earth is the game's ninth power.

- Prior to March 31st, 2015, access to Earth powers was included in The Battle for Earth DLC pack. Previous owners of the DLC will retain access to the power.
- Several boss encounters in DC Universe Online content utilise Earth abilities as mechanics. These include Tala in JLD: Shattered Gotham raid, and Terra in the Titans: H.I.V.E. Reborn raid.
- Additionally, some boss encounters in Atlantean themed content utilise a coral variant of Earth abilities as mechanics. These include the Coralmancer sub boss in the Murk boss encounter in the Atlantis: Crown of Thorns raid. These have a distinctive pink coral animation instead of the original animation.
