Earth

Command the power of Earth, shaping it into mighty pets and causing damaging tremors. Characters that choose Earth will rumble on to the scene and shake things up.
Access to Earth powers is available to members with an active subscription. Non-members may purchase access in the Marketplace for either 600 Daybreak Cash, 600 Marketplace Cash or 600 Loyalty Points.
Specializing in Tanking abilities, Earth is the game's ninth power.



Power Description Details
Dodge

Press the Block button plus a direction to quickly dart in that direction in order to escape an incoming attack.
While dodging, ranged attacks are deflected.

Press the Block button plus to reduce damage from incoming attacks.

You gain the following benefits while blocking:

Breakout

Press the Block button plus to immediately regain control of yourself and recover from Knockdown or other Control Effects.
It is ineffective against Counter attacks, Interrupt effects and other very strong attacks.

Tap the Melee Attack button after any Aftershock ability to gain a bonus effect. Some abilities allow for multiple taps to be used. The bonus effects will be increased with each use.

Tank Role : Taunts a single target to attack you instead of others. The effect is more powerful and will not be broken by a standard Tank Role taunt.

Summon Brick Golem

Summon a Brick Golem to defend you.
While in combat with your Brick Golem alive, your passive power regeneration is reduced.
Hold the Summon Brick Golem button for three seconds to banish it.

Tank Role : Brick uses super powers to restore and defend himself.
You gain Earthen Bond, transferring a portion of your incoming damage to Brick while not blocking. Does not stack with Stone Skin.

Summon Crystal Golem

Summon a destructive Crystal Golem to attack your enemies.
While in combat with your Crystal Golem alive, your passive power regeneration is reduced.

Earthquake

Stomp both feet to create an incredible seismic event that wrecks widespread destruction. Your target and enemies caught within the area of effect are stunned, rooted, and heavily damaged from the splattering lava.

Earth Combo : Tap Melee x 3 : Consumes additional supercharge to cause additional damage to enemies, culminating in an explosive blast that knocks enemies down and deals damage over time.

Trivia[]

  • Prior to March 31st, 2015, access to Earth powers was included in The Battle for Earth DLC pack. Previous owners of the DLC will retain access to the power.
  • Several boss encounters in DC Universe Online content utilise Earth abilities as mechanics. These include Tala in JLD: Shattered Gotham raid, and Terra in the Titans: H.I.V.E. Reborn raid.
  • Additionally, some boss encounters in Atlantean themed content utilise a coral variant of Earth abilities as mechanics. These include the Coralmancer sub boss in the Murk boss encounter in the Atlantis: Crown of Thorns raid. These have a distinctive pink coral animation instead of the original animation.
