Help Steelworks and Envirotech clean up the waste management of Ace Chemicals.
Objective[]
- Locate and speak to HAZMAT Johnson
- Locate and destroy the mutant clusters [0/7]
- Locate and speak to HAZMAT Johnson
- Stay near the mutant clusters to get mutated
- Once mutated, lead sludges back to the HAZMAT team [0/12]
- Locate and Defeat the Enraged Sludge Monster
- Return to the Steelworks Communication Foreman near Ace Chemicals

Walkthrough[]
Speak to HAZMAT Johnson[]
Follow the Navigation Diamond (if it's active in Settings > UI) to north from the main Ace building to the Chemical Storage Pool. Johnson is down there on a platform. Interact with him to proceed.
Destroy Mutant Clusters[]
You must destroy 7 radioactive clusters, while fighting with Mutants, Mutant Giants, and Sludges. If you stay close to the clusters, you'll be turned into a Sludge yourself - reverse the mutation by washing at the shower behind HAZMAT Johnson (note that Sludges will become friendly and follow you around when you're transformed). Stay on the platforms if you want to avoid damage. Go back to HAZMAT Johnson when you're done and interact with him to unlock the next objective.
Dealing with Sludges[]
Stay near any of the clusters and wait a few seconds to be mutated (you will lose you movement ability, but the transformation will wear off after 5 minutes), then go near the Sludges. They'll follow you around, so you can lure them back to the HAZMATs to be washed clean. You'll need to lure 12 of them in any order. Beware of the Mutants and the Mutant Giants, they'll still be hostile to you.
Enraged Sludge Monster[]
Once you're done, a giant Enraged Sludge Monster will appear and attack the HAZMATs. Take him down, take a shower to revert back to your normal form (you won't be able to leave the area as a sludge), then report back to the Response team to finish the mission.
