Deadly Pride is a weekly mission for heroes and villains given by Metamorpho in Infernal Kahndaq.
Intro[]
(Weekly) Descended at last is the Deadly Enemy of Pride! Metamorpho is directing defenses to send the last and most powerful of the Deadly Enemies back to its prison in the Rock of Eternity!
Objectives[]
- Defeat Pride of the Deadly Enemies in Infernal Kahndaq
- Return to Metamorpho in Infernal Kahndaq's palace stronghold
Combatants[]
- Pride (Deadly Enemies)
- Soulless Sentinel
Walkthrough[]
Pride can be found in southwestern Infernal Kahndaq. It can be reached quickly through the teleporter on the west side of the starting area. The battle against Pride is more dynamic than against Injustice and there are not many safer areas for non-tanks, although the damage is not as consistently heavy. Pride attacks with Staff.
- Ring of Pride: Pride marks a huge yellow ring centered around herself; after a short delay, the ring deals massive damage at all players on it and knocks them towards the center. Part of the ring can be hidden by the surrounding slopes (if Pride is not positioned right in the middle of the pit), and the ring does affect players high up in the air. If you are at the outer edge of the ring, it can hit you twice which can deal extreme damage.
- Firenado: Pride conjures a static, massive fire tornado at her current location. They will pull nearby targets into them, juggle targets already in them, and deal moderate damage over time. They last for a long time and several can be active at once.
- Battle Charge: Pride charges several times at random directions, damaging and knocking aside targets on her path.
- Irresistible Pull: A single-target beam that pulls and stuns a target, dealing heavy damage.
Rewards[]
- 2425 Cash
- 8 Source Marks
- 8 Coins of Ra
- The Sins of Black Adam: Large Loot Cache
- Soder Cola Extreme
Trivia[]
- Similar to Injustice in Just Us, Deadly Pride uses a counter system (0/100). Unlike that mission, only 1 is added to the counter for every Soulless Sentinel defeated, but they are weaker and are always present (does not require the boss to be in combat to summon them), so you can opt to avoid engaging the boss at all and still finish the mission.
