Objectives[]

Walkthrough[]

You start the raid by joining Big Barda and Harley Quinn at the Subjukator Construction Site, and then proceeding through a series of hallways defeating Parademon enemies in the process. Part way through this you encounter General Kraze in a more open area, before loading ammo to two cannons. Harley's fire at a giant Darkseid statue (Subjukator) in the distance ineffectually, while Big Barda's blast opens the door to the next area. After a few more hallways defeating Parademon enemies the group encounters Granny Goodness.

First boss: Granny Goodness[]

Can be tricky with lower damage output from the group, and/or if the group don’t focus on mechanics, more so in the elite versions.

Required roles for normal/elite: 5 DPS, 1 Controller, 1 Heal, 1 Tank

Recommended roles for elite plus: 4-5 DPS, 1 Controller, 1 Heal, 1-2 Tank

Mechanics:

  • Battle Charge: Granny Goodness will target a random player (the affected player will receive an icon above their head). If Granny Goodness hits the player they will be knocked back (Knockback Attack) and will take significant damage, more so in the elite versions.
  • Parademon Soldier adds will spawn from the 4 Boom Tubes that appear early in the boss encounter to assist Granny Goodness in battle.
  • A Shield Drone and an Attack Drone will also appear to assist Granny Goodness in battle. The Shield Drone will shield Granny Goodness, mitigating damage towards her. It is worth considering that if players deal damage towards the drones directly that they will target players (ie. not the tank) instead with their Primary Attack - most individual KOs from group members in the elite versions of this boss encounter are usually due to this reason.
  • Shockwave Stomp (1): Granny Goodness will face in a particular direction (often following Battle Charge) with a red cone AOE tell on the floor, before producing a shockwave in front of her. Deals heavy damage.
  • Energy Blast: Granny Goodness will face a particular direction while having a red skull icon above her head. She will then fire several projectiles in that direction. Deals very heavy damage and may knock back affected players. Prolonged exposure to this will likely KO affected players, especially in the elite versions.

Pain Amplifier[]

  • This is the primary mechanic for this boss encounter.
  • Every 45 seconds the Pain Amplifier will Discharge raid wide AOE damage to the group. This may get stronger depending on how much the Pain Amplifier gets charged.
  • 4 Boom Tubes will spawn around the room early in the boss encounter (as previously mentioned). Parademon Transporter adds will spawn, carrying Power Core containers that have a yellow lightning icon on them.
  • Players must stop these Power Core containers from reaching the Pain Amplifier machine in the middle of the room (and ideally destroy them) or they will fill the Pain Amplifier Charge.
  • If the Pain Amplifier Charge reaches 100 and it discharges it will deal extremely heavy damage to the group and will likely cause a group wipe.
  • When a Power Core container is destroyed it will leave an electric AOE, dealing considerable damage over time to affected players.

Differences/considerations for elite plus:

  • All attacks/adds/mechanics are scaled up, so there is a high expectation on the group. Some groups may prefer to run 2 tanks.
  • DPS should prioritise defeating the Shield Drone and Attack Drone as these may cause issues focusing on specific players and KOing them potentially.

After defeating Granny Goodness, the group proceed through more hallways defeating more Parademon enemies. Eventually the group enter the Subjukator Overlook where they need to detonate explosives on Apokoliptian equipment to provide a distraction for Big Barda. This causes a couple waves of Parademon enemies to spawn in via Boom Tubes. Eventually Kalibak joins the battle, but when the group deal approximately 5% of his health a cutscene occurs, Darkseid appears and banishes Kalibak before confronting the group.

Last boss: Darkseid[]

Fairly straightforward boss encounter in both regular and elite versions. In the elite plus version somewhat trickier.

Recommended roles for regular/elite/elite plus versions: 5 DPS, 1 Controller, 1 Heal, 1 Tank

Mechanics:

  • Parademon Soldier, Parademon Fixer, Parademon Grenadier, Parademon Maniac and Parademon Brute adds will spawn to assist Darkseid in combat.
  • Mass Omega Strike: Darkseid will fire Omega Beams in the sky. All players will have a red AOE tell  (with Omega Symbol) on the floor beneath them and the players will need to move quickly. Approximately 1.5 seconds after the tells appear Omega Strikes appear, dealing very heavy damage over time to affected players. While doing this mechanic periodically throughout the boss encounter, Darkseid always does this mechanic first shortly after the boss encounter starts.
  • Shockwave Stomp (2): Darkseid will stomp on the ground, dealing moderate damage to nearby players or allied NPCs.
  • Apokoliptian Torment: Small red AOE tells will appear around the room. Fire will fall onto the targeted areas, leaving a small fiery AOE on the ground. If a player is affected by this they will take damage over time for a short while - this will continue even if the player is no longer stood on the AOE directly.
  • Omega Eruption (1):  Darkseid will create a large red donut AOE around him. After 3 seconds red Omega projectiles come down from the ceiling and hit the affected areas. Deals very heavy damage to affected players. There will be onscreen text when this occurs, stating “Move Close to Darkseid!”
  • Omega Eruption (2): Darkseid will have a small red AOE around him. Avoid the AOE. There will be onscreen text when this occurs, stating “Get Away from Darkseid!” (More info needed)
  • Blitz: Darkseid will randomly charge a player, dealing very heavy damage. Even if not a direct hit players nearby may also take very heavy damage. If the player is directly hit by Darkseid’s charge they may be KO’d (as well as knocked back), especially in the elite versions, and especially if a non-tank role.

Omega Execute[]

  • Darkseid will give a random player a green stack marker icon as well as an Omega symbol.
  • There will be onscreen text stating: “Move to Marked Teammate to Reduce Damage - the More the Better!”
  • After approximately 7 seconds the affected player will be impacted by Omega Execute.
  • If not enough players stack with the affected player or the player is by themselves they will take full damage and will likely be KO’d. Even with two players in the elite version if only the affected player and another player stack both players will be KO’d.

Subjukator Blast[]

  • At approximately 95%/60%/30% of Darkseid’s health, Darkseid will shield and become invulnerable, and will blink to the the middle of the room. The entire room will have a red AOE tell.
  • There will be onscreen text stating: “Subjukator Blast Incoming, take cover!”
  • There will be terminals around the room, one will have a interact icon which a player can use to activate a barrier to get out of line of sight of Darkseid and create a safe area from the attack.
  • There is approximately 10 seconds between the start of the phase and the impact.
  • If players are affected by Subjukator Blast they will take large damage in the regular version, however this will most likely KO affected players in the elite versions. It may also knock players back.
  • It is possible to hide behind at least the terminal (with the icon) in the room to stay out of line of sight of Darkseid and evade or at least mitigate incoming damage. (More info needed)
  • If Darkseid commences Omega Execute and then starts this phase shortly after, Omega Execute does not occur despite the affected player having the icons on them.
  • Any Parademon adds that are in line of sight of Darkseid during this phase will likely be defeated if affected by Subjukator Blast.

Differences/considerations for elite plus:

  • Fallen Parademon enemies may drop an Explosive Device with a short timer icon. When the timer runs out it will explode, dealing heavy damage to affected players. Be especially vigilant following a Subjukator Blast phase as there may be several fallen Parademons and subsequently several Explosive Device AOEs to watch out for.

Once you defeat Darkseid you have completed the raid.

Note: This is an early version of the walkthrough and is subject to mostly minor changes in the coming weeks, depending on hotfixes/server updates. A few mechanics need a little more information.
