Apokolips: New Genesis Undercity is a tier 7 solo challenge in the Harley Quinn vs. Apokolips episode. It also features an elite version.

Story

Hammer Harleen is on her first mission as a Female Fury and is out to retrieve the Splinter of Destiny. Join Red Tool to scout the area and find her whereabouts before Harley makes a grave mistake!

Walkthrough

Join Red Tool in New Genesis looking for Harley Quinn, who has joined the Furies and is battling Big Barda for a powerful item. Upon finding a Mother Box and defeating the mobs around it, go through the boom tube it opens, leading to the first boss.

First boss: Lashina

Lashina is fairly simple without particularly dangerous attacks even in Elite. She uses Martial Arts. Whenever she loses a portion of her health, she briefly turns invincible while fleeing and summoning several parademons. It is not required to kill them (but it is a feat to do once).

After defeating her, interact with her to take a tool for repairing the Mother Box.

Calibrating the Mother Box involves a simple puzzle. Interact with the console, which would play a sequence, involving the 4 pads on the floor lighting up in a particular order (with matching audible chimes). Imitating the sequence yourself by stepping on top the pads, which lights up when triggered (it is possible not to trigger it if you run across it too fast, especially with Ally: Professor Zoom's passive effect). Do it correctly 4 times to proceed. If you get it wrong parademons would appear, and getting it wrong too many times would eventually allow you to bypass the puzzle.

Second boss: Hammer Harleen

Hammer Harleen has two notable special attacks, but they both have a considerable tell so they are easy to avoid.

• Homerun Strike: Harleen marks a red cone in front of her before damaging the player equal to 75% of their max health if caught within (ignores Shield Powers). Warned with Lethal attack icon.
• Grand Slam: When she falls to 75%, 50%, and 25% health, Harleen Boom Tubes to the middle of the area, marks a broad red ring on the ground centred around her (the ring can be a short, medium, or long distance away from her), before blasting the marked area over a couple seconds. Each use of Grand Slam deals 4 hits, each equal to 45% of player max health, and ignores Shield Powers. She uses it twice every time before returning to normal combat.

Possible bug: If you damage her down to 75%, then damage her down to 50% while she is still in the Grand Slam phase, she will remain in it for the rest of the fight, using Grand Slam constantly regardless of health percentages.

Trivia

• This instance marks the comeback of New Genesis since the Wonderverse: Fractured God Sphere raid.
• It is possible to interact with the Mother Box after only defeating the parademons around it. Red Tool can be stuck behind fighting previous parademons, but he will teleport to you once you go through the boom tube.
• If you defeat Lashina, pick up the tool and start the calibration, Red Tool would teleport to you, even if he has been KO'ed.
• The 4 pads for calibrating the Mother Box are marked with letters of the Greek alphabet, clockwise from the console being: Ψ (blue), Φ (red), π (yellow), and Σ (green).
