The Alpha Lantern is a Taskmaster NPC located in Metropolis' Historic District leading members of the Green Lantern Corps in battle against the Sinestro Corps and the Manhunters.
He is specifically charged with targeting the Sinestro Corps Amplifier Devices which the corps uses to bolster the power of their waning Power Rings.
