The Alpha Lantern is a Taskmaster NPC located in Metropolis' Historic District leading members of the Green Lantern Corps in battle against the Sinestro Corps and the Manhunters.
While damaged, he is specifically charged with defeating Sinestro Corps members and holding their Power Rings in specially built Power Ring Prisons to deplete their numbers.
